You play too fast and loose with truth...ironic since truth is in your name.
You make it easy, so very easy, for some sicko on the left to label someone in order to destroy them, for political reasons.
You are spreading it.
You are part of the problem.
The Bachmanns have been married 33 years and have 5 children. Quite a few people in the area they are from know them. If someone like that is truly “gay”, others would know it, and it wouldn’t need to be theorized by some distant sicko based on someone’s body build and voice. That would be my answer to the sickos, instead of picking up the banner and running with it that Marcus Bachmann is “gay”.
It isn’t either/or...the election is still far off. I do not have to destroy Michele Bachmann in order to boost Sarah Palin, nor do I have to destroy Sarah Palin to boost Michele Bachmann.
They are both on our side and I would support either one.
Well, it’s very complicated, and I’m conflicted in this. The story has broken. It has been on Stewart, with Seinfeld. That’s how far along it’s gotten. Now, this is fatal. But it’s not immediately fatal. Not everyone has gotten the memo. But you saw what they said. Put it on SNL and make it 5x worse. And try to figure out what the impact of that will be. It will be catastrophic. I watched what happened with Christine O’Donnell. And I think this will be worse for Bachmann. She won’t get to the end. And that’s great, prop her up, until, until what. Bachmann fans will be attacking Palin fans, Palin fans will be attacking Bachmann fans. Do we want this? Listen Bachmann fans, you have a dead candidate. Once everyone accepts this, the terms of the debate should be more clear. What happens if Palin doesn’t get in? A bunch of people are going to try and carry a dead candidate for a year? Well, yes. So, don’t tear down Palin. Are we going to have to try to fight off Rick Perry with a dead candidate? Maybe, and that’s a real problem that I didn’t anticipate 3 weeks ago. If Palin doesn’t run, and if Paul somehow disappears, I can see myself supporting a candidate who could not win. That’s Bachmann. So, I’m not pleased about these unhappy details
about Bachmann’s life. Well, it’s awfully complicated now.
In some ways I’m pleased, because it could help Paul. But her falling off invites more people in other than Palin. Hopefully Bachmann can hold on, not get ripped apart too badly, still keep her reputation intact, and her status as one of the top tea party leaders, until Palin gets in, and people just naturally gravitate to Palin. And I’m saying this as a Paul supporter. More of Bachmann’s support would go to Palin then to Paul. And if there was no Palin, that support would go to Paul, but it might provide an opening for Perry. So, I don’t want Perry in there. He’s sinister.
So, very complicated. A scenario I like has Paul in, Palin in, and the establishment candidate. And Ron Paul just attacks the establishment candidate. This would result in a Palin vs Paul showdown in the Republican primary which most people would think, based on reason, would result in a Palin win. But the many debates are focused on attacking Obama.
And it’s all win. Then a Palin / Paul ticket.
So, Bachmann is fatally wounded. But it is hard to tell exactly how long it takes. Palin said keep an eye on September for an announce. I see that and say, good, Bachmann can stay alive until then. Hopefully, Palin gets in. Because if she doesn’t, there’s a real problem. Get Christine O’Donnell in there to step in for Bachmann. Because a fatally wounded Bachmann is not really strong enough to hold off Perry. Maybe it would be time to start saying good things about Gingrich. And I like Ron Paul, and it could be argued that a Bachmann collapse is good for Ron Paul. But I thought that we’d beat a stronger Bachmann, who would be strong enough to keep away Perry. And everything is just worse if Perry is in the race. At least to me, the focus of attack on Romney would shift to a focus of attack on Perry.
