It sounds liea planned victory celebration to me. He plans to celebrate the Republicans cave with a huge party that rakes in buckets of cash at the same time. For a Democrat it’s the perfect evening!

That’s only during daylight hours. Someone pretending to not be a Muslim (for the purpose of deception in order to further the cause of Islam) don’t have to fast at all.
Muslims have altered definitions of a lot of these things. I knew a bunch of Iranians who decided to go on a “hunger strike” in protest of the Shah back in the ‘70’s, and they only struck during the day, and only for the three days before US Thanksgiving. Dumbest thing I ever saw.
It’s not a birthday party, it’s a feast at the beginning of Ramadan.
Omoslem celebrated Ramadan 2010 by taking the entire monthlong “holiday” off.
