The State Legislature dropped the tax rate from something like 5.8% to 5.5%.
Some genius in the tax writing committee suggested a new line on the state income tax form: If you you like to pay at the old rate, check this box.
I think something like 500 people were stupid enough to do just that.
Amazing!
