This is the face of capitulation on the part of the GOP. It is that simple. Taking defeat from the jaws of victory is another. Hey Bonehead, I don't give a damn if his excellency is frustrated, I want no increase in the debt load and if there is one, I want 4 dollars in immediate cuts for every dollar the debt goes up without any increase in revenues...got it. We are not dealing from a zero deficit point, we are already 14.5T in debt with deficits running over 1T as far as the eye can see....that is country killing so if der leader is frustrated, F..K him, I care about the country, my family and my dependents.
They are buying into the scare tactics. Let me get this straight, if the government goes along with a 2.5T raise in the debt level which brings it to over 17T, which it will reach in 18 months, which also means more than a 15% increase now, our interest rates will not be affected? This is all BS. It gets even worse when they say, well, we will seek a balanced budget amendment, IN FIVE YEARS OUT.
My advice, don't raise the debt limit, go on a pay as you go basis. Everything beyond the line of income just does not get paid, period, end of story.
Meanwhile, from what I see now, Bonehead is going along with the POS’ plan now. He is stiffing the conservatives in his party and is using these scare tactics as the reason why. Not only is he sinking the country in debt beyond repair, he has just handed the POS reelection and ensured the GOP will be the minority party forever.
There are some people who have said from the beginning that this is all theater. A made up play to manipulate the markets and crush the dollar. I am beginning to believe they are correct. Why the House just doesn't pass a budget and move the fight to the Senate and on to 0 is beyond me. A straight forward passed budget from the Reps three months ago would of put this in a whole other light. Something is very wrong.
