Welfare moms sue the county over a plan to move the welfare office 2 miles up the road to an empty former Walmart building. Columbia County runs the agency and currently leases a building within the city of Hudson. The 2 mile trek would disrupt the busy life of the city welfare moms so they got together and hired a lawyer to sue the county. Classic wefare mentality. The city politicians are also protesting the move. The county covers 648 quaare miles but I guess deadbeats within the city of Hudson are special.

People have a lot of nerve. And lost any sense of shame about 3 generations ago.
I would bet most of the the (let me guess - “single”?) moms filing this suit have a newer mobile phone and car than I. And I bet their nails and hair are all fixed up, too!
Why do they need to have the office there if they are already plugged into the services?

Even without a photo I’m pretty sure a 4-mile walk once a month wouldn’t hurt these women.

Maybe the lawyer who filed the suit pro bono, could give them a ride to the new office in his car.

They state in the suit, filed Wednesday, that putting DSS outside of the city of Hudson, in which city, the suit claims, 54 percent of clients live, will put an undue burden on those in need of services.
Undue Burden?? Geez what about the undue burden these recipients place on those of us who work so they can eat. You want your free money walk the 2 miles to get it...Many of us have to commute farther than that to earn it for you.

Dear DSS Clients,
How about you walk the two miles to the new office, and while you're at it, pick up a bag of trash off the side of the road. Turn in the trash in order to receive your check. The walk home is a freebie.
Sincerely,
The Providers
