We just need a thread that is substantive.
Levin's acolytes can seem strange, to me. The perfidious acts of a few of them invading our space to malign us and Dr. Savage is worse than any of their claims against Dr. Savage. Go figure.
I suggest that there be no support for Savage-style personal attacks against other conservatives. Savage is not going to change. He's explained it. I recall (right or wrong) that Savage as said on the air that even his family has suggested that he stop maligning competitors.
Substantive pro and con comments -- about Savage and other talk show hosts should be welcome on all talk show threads. IMO.
I will never change my mind. This is about America not! which media personality is, can be, should be Number One! Get over it, y'all hosts.
I've seen them come and go for decades. Big deal.
But like major league Hall of Famers of course there is no way I can match anything that the Savages, Levins, et al. have done, do, and will do -- there! both Savage and Levin can skip telling me I'm a nobody. All right already, I know it. But the happiest nobody you'll ever hear of. Certainly rank in the top one billion. :)
I remember 
Joe Pyne from his short-lived TV show in the Cincinnati market -- never heard his million-plus radio station syndicated show. (Alright so it was only a few hundred stations.)
Joe Pyne was the "father of 'in-your-face' talk radio, Joe insulted people on his show long before it became hip. Some described the show as 'shocking' for its time because not only was he verbally aggressive, but at times he would become physically violent. Pyne was perhaps the first angry conservative to 'let it all hang out' on radio and TV, insulting and verbally assaulting his liberal guests, 'fringe' celebrities, or any public figure who disagreed with him. . . ."

In Florida if you take any pain meds or pills for mental conditions it will be reported to state’s pill database. So much for electing a conservati e republican attorney general . I can’t believe Rick Scott signed the bill. What about patient privacy ? I am thinking about suing.

Pyne was literally run off of radio after the JFK assassination and there was a major effort to blame conservative criticism of JFK.
As I said above.. I never heard his radio but I really liked his TV show. Where I was at the time, Cincinnati, there were some really good local radio -- and I sure as hell don't mean top 40 crap. So I never had to search.. perhaps I would have found his show.
