Trying to weasel out of the 'Secure Communities' program (sends fingerprints of arrested perps to DHS) in order to pander to Hispanic (and ILLEGAL) voters, Mayor Thomas Menino claims that stealing a car is not a "serious crime", and illegal aliens should not be reported to ICE if guilty of committing it. Menino also says he talks to "community leaders" (leaders of illegals?) and that they told him which crimes it was ok to deport other illegals for committing. The inmates are running the asylum up in Boston.

Could Mumbles be trying to claim that it isn’t a frequent thing to have illegales steal cars in Boston? Or does he honestly think stealing a car is no big deal?
The mayor is a fool.
a) Of course car theft is a serious crime. A car is the most valuable thing the vast majority of people own (except for their home, which can’t be hotwired and driven away). Even legal, permanent resident immigrants should be deported for car theft. I wish we could deport American citizens who steal cars.
b) ILLEGAL aliens should be deported for jaywalking, littering or simply breathing American air. They are ILLEGAL and have no right to be here, even if they obey every other law. Most routinely break the law to maintain their illegal pressence here and a large percentage commit non-immigration related felonies, including violent ones.

The “community leaders” and Mumbles said the only crime they can get deported for is murder. Deportation is NOT the penalty for murder unless they are deported to Texas for the hot shot.
