I’m pretty much Switzerland on the subject as long as it doesn’t hurt the populations.
We used to net mullet down here. They passed a ban and three years later the fishing for 50 other species came back so strong no one in our industry believed it. Some methods are just too good and actually have to be regulated.
Its the same concept of why we don't shoot deer with an uzi.
