Imagine that... some Republicans decided to “grow a set” and hold firm and the liberal ideologue pansy folds like a cheap lawn chair. Hey you gutless DC “negotiators”, let's start a trend...!

Take note Republicans in DC! You can win! Dayton challenged Republicans to a game of who will blink first, and lost. He caved completely and the Republicans got everything they wanted. A great day for Minnesota!

Dayton hasn’t agreed to anything yet. Read the meat under the Title and he is counter-proposing on a few things.
He’s playing the Barry game and going for the the R’s are not flexible enough to agree to my simple counters.

Read his letter. The republicans will reject it.
He wants them to drop the 15% cut in state employees and a 500 million dollar bonding bill to put Minnesota ‘back to work’
To: US Navy Vet
I hope the legislature prorates the amount by decreasing the bottom line by 3.8% since the government has been shut down for the last 14 days. No sense in charging the people over the last two weeks for a government that didn’t bother to show up for work.

If he calls them back into special session, he can’t cancel it .
I think it’s a trick to lure Zellers into a room and give him the googly eyes hypno-stare.

National GOP... THIS is how it’s done!
Pass the proper budget legislation and move the ball into the enemy’s court.

To: US Navy Vet
Dayton caved because he got orders from the top (i.e. Obama).
Every day the Minnesota Government was shut down and the world did not end was another day emboldening Republicans that they could do the same in Washington.
To: US Navy Vet
He accepted, WITH CONDITIONS. So, he really didn’t accept.
To: cableguymn
I still don’t think people are reading the article so I’ll repeat:
He did not cave. He says he will accept the Republican offer if and only if he can remove a big cost cutting measure and spend an additional half billion dollars.
The battle is still on.
