I say drop it.
There is a much stronger case that he, and all his family friends as well as associates are radical communists.

I agree. Campaigns are loaded with issues. This could be just one to be used against Obama. Promoting Obama fraud and keeping it alive is smart politics.

Furthermore, it will keep Obama distracted as the birthers keep nipping at his heels.

There are people who don't follow politics, especially younger voters. The left- right arguing in media is part of the turn off. ( imo, from many first hand discussions) This issue seems to hit home, the doubt added with Obama's evasiveness makes a difference in voting for him.
