I don't think that's what he's doing. I'm not sure the "layers" show up in a program that lets you adjust opacity--in my playing around with the BC, I don't get layers in Photoshop or other image editing programs. When I open it in my (old) copy of Illustrator, I see the "layers," but I can't adjust their opacity.
What I've noticed is that different programs render the PDF slightly differently. In Illustrator and Adobe Reader, the boxes are sharp-edged black (and do look identical). In Photoshop and a different PDF reader, they get affected by the background--not because of anything I did, but because that's how those programs render PDFs. I think your correspondent must be looking at the BC in a program that does that.

Obama's BC is a 100% complete fabrication. It's hilarious that a couple of you go out of your way to distract from the obvious. Especially with the multiple layering of the document and timestamps indicating when the BC was CHANGED. You're funny people.
Some how, some way, your software is introducing a distortion to the image of the two boxes in illustrator.
Open the document in PDF and view the same two boxes at maximum magnification. It shows no difference. And this magnification is greater than the one you have from illustrator.
Illustrator is probably the problem. The green security layer is probably getting shifted on the screen into the boxes.
These boxes are verbatim copies, no question about it.
Certificate is definitely a fraud.
When we Look at Abercromby's activity prior to this document being published, it becomes obvious what has happened. He didn't send a person to find Obamas document. They were there to set this composite up and put it in place.
