You’re typing and communicating on one. Oh, sure, laptops and the Net would have come along eventually...around 2040 or so.
More likely sooner than they did. The space program was always behind the curve computer and chip-wise. A private program would have been more aggressive at using the latest tech.
NASA had ZERO to do with computers and the internet.
