Rick Perry could be close to announcing his candidacy for GOP presidential nomination just hours after it was revealed that Sarah Palin could also be ready to announce her nomination for the presidential nomination. The decision from Rick Perry comes off the back of a report that suggests Republican donors are not willing to back Michele Bachmann or Mitt Romney and they want both Sarah Palin and Rick Perry to stand to give the Republican party the greatest chance of beating president Obama in 2012 as well as adding some life into a so far drab nomination campaign.

Gov Jindal is great but if Sarah Palin gets the nomination, my money is on her picking Texas Governor Rick Perry. 24 posted on Saturday, December 04, 2010 12:12:58 AM by upsdriver (Sarah Palin; the most intelligent politician of her time. :-)

Here is my post explaining my prediction.
To: streetpreacher
Perry gets along well with Palin and they share much of the same views, such as the tenth amendment power to the states. My theory is that she wont pick someone that offers a win in some state if that person isnt a team player or from the old school of political thought. My intentions in supporting Palin for president is that she will turn DC upside down. Her VP pick and all the cabinet needs to reflect that way of thinking as there is serious work to be done and we cant tolerate those who plot behind the scenes to sink her mission. And that is my quick, rambling answer.
