With this, he has reached a new level of demagoguery.
Republicans will only be able to hold firm IF they can expose this for the demagoguery it is, shame him, and show
how he’s using this to undermine all those who oppose this latest ploy of raising the debt ceiling. The question is, are they up to the task, are they up to showing that if SS checks are cut off, what other ‘benefits’ will NOT be affected and will keep rollin’ in? If they can’t do this (and he’s giving them precious little time to respond with a full-blown argument), they will lose, and they’ll be blamed for people not getting their checks.
Obama has always seems determined to bring everything to a head , and create a rebellion among the American people.
He’s still gambling that the rebellion will all be on HIS side, and will benefit HIM.
He is as foul as they come. America elected a tin-horn dictator determined to create a permanent state of crisis, deepened beyond anything we’ve seen so far, and plunge America into a second Civil War, or a second American Revolution. A lot of us saw this coming the day he was elected.
“A lot of us saw this coming the day he was elected”
True. It is a little like watching an incoming asteroid. Some of us saw it coming- for all the good it has done.
The day he was elected - from that day I felt a heaviness inside, a distinct feeling of I guess sorrow and fear. Can’t quite describe it. My lib nephew and his wife were celebrating the victory at Thanksgiving dinner that year and they thought I was crazy to feel the way I was feeling.
