Unless, of course, they become running mates. Not entirely out of the realm of possibility. And that is what I find most refreshing going in to next year. Contrary to what the media is saying, I think we have a very broad base of good candidates; each has their own strengths and ideas, many from outside the beltway, like Cain and Palin, several other governors and some serving in Washington now.
This is not the 2008 election, where BOTH sides were whittling down to the candidate. We know who we’re running against, it wasn’t as clear at this point in the last election.
And last time, we ended up with a mediocre candidate against a charismatic fraud. This time, the charisma won’t be as much of a factor...but the fraud will be.
And in 2016, we have even more strength..Rubio, Ryan, West...etc. I’m feeling more optimistic every day...something I had lost for a few years.
i’m hoping of a Palin/Walker ticket myself. But a Palin/Perry ticket would be good too.
