What, am I proposing Ron Paul or Ross Perot? I propose that the Republicans nominate the person who recusitated the McCain Campaign - at least until McCain pulled the plug on himself by stopping his campaign to debate TARP - and then announcing that his opponent would make a good president!!It's rare that the VP choice has a big effect on the election, and McCain could have lost just as well without her - but it was embarrassing to be unable to campaign without your VP along to draw the crowd.
So, compared to the prospect of a gaggle of equally, or more, flawed conservatives which would risk paving the way for Romney we should have just drafted Paling to start with.
