I figure the market will drop probably 4000 points the week of August 1st after the idiots in Washington fail to raise the debt ceiling and to about 5000 by the end of the year. On the other hand interest rates will probably spike a couple of points so I'll be heading to cash in the next two weeks.

Aaaa. Most between 1% and 2%. That’s happened quite a few times over the past few years. It will be interesting to see Congress’ reaction to the European bond thing, though.
