>What we’re saying is let’s explore this whole concept and see where we want to be as a school district when it relates to the diverse student population we now serve. <
And one action will be accomplished. White kids simply move out to another district. Hollywood HS here where lots of movie stars used to go to is now 100% mexican. The beauty of multi-culturalism...

This systematic corruption of education--indeed, an outright sanctification of the lies that drive Socialist theory--should not be allowed to flourish anywhere in America; that it is so rampant in a fairly Conservative State such as Nebraska is really alarming.
"Diversity" is Leftist newspeak for dismantling social continuity. "Social Justice" is newspeak for What Is Not Social & Not Just.
Our heritage is being systematically dismantled, and because most folk do not want to be verbally abused--the only way the Leftists argue--most Americans remain silent in the face of this sort of attack. But if this silence continues, while the youth continue to be brain washed, we have no future.
The Obama campaign in 2008 should have been a wakeup call. That it wasn't more of one, is really chilling.

Not to worry. Thanks to our wonderfully intrusive central socialist government, the kids can’t read anyway.

"Employees will be asked to read a couple of chapters each quarter and then meet in study groups to discuss the book using a study guide produced by the district, she said. For teachers, the study sessions will be a part of their professional development.
"School board President Sandra Jensen said the district doesn't endorse everything in the book, nor does she expect employees to adopt the authors' positions. The book is intended to open a dialogue, she said."
It's just 'Mein Kampf', she said. Only good Germans and teachers who wish to keep their jobs must studiously agree with all the writings of the Fuhrer, and teach this to their students from authorized textbooks. The anti-national-social people who do not agree must still attend, but they may not speak.

Just how moronic can these school board members be????? That's an old problem as shown by Mark Twain's quote: "God made the idiot for practice, and then He made the school board."

I’m glad the custodial staff receives a copy, so then they will be able to identify other copies to collect for the burning pile, or to save for winter fuel or TP. Unless they are Bambi-ites.

This is why we moved out of Omaha to a suburb to the Millard Public School. When my son was 13 and at Norris Jr High in Omaha he was attacked from behind and beaten by another student. His collar bone was broken as well as other injuries. I went to the school to find out who this was and what they were going to do about it. I was told by a counselor that there were several kids who witnessed it and knew who this kid was, but they wanted to verify it. My husband was out of town that week, so I had to handle it alone. I went in everyday that week & was told they were still checking the stories. Friday after school I was told by Ms. Williams that they know who did it, but he was transferred to another school & I would have to take it up with the other school. She had told me during the week a sob story about this kid so I would drop my concerns. He's from a broken home and his step mom can't control him. He's 16 (my son was 13) and he just got of Nebraska Phys Hospital for using drugs. He just had a few classes to make up so he could go onto high school. She actually tried to make me feel sorry for this kid, yet had no pity for my son.
This kid was angry because a girl he liked was talking to my son. I was told because of his age I could not do anything legally (which was a lie). Monday morning my husband went to Norris, walked in the principals office (they were trying to stop him), grabbed the principal by the collar & told him this happened at your school and YOU will take care of it. He immediately got a van & filled it with the witnesses & my husband & went to the new high school to again verify who did this. Nothing was ever done to this kid by the schools. I have a wide variety of cousins who ages spane from 6 & 60.
A few of my cousins were big guys on the football team, so they had most of the team corner this kid told him it was their cousins' son who he hurt. They did not hurt him, but scared him until he left the school that year. Omaha schools are really bad.
