As Rachel Maddow said a couple of years ago about the wonders of San Francisco “This is what happens when liberals run things. So why are Conservatives afraid?” As long as people with similar beliefs to Maddow are in power, this will never stop.

“The wonders of San Francisco” are overrated. In the event you may be a stranger to Northern California, SF is a toilet, filthy and disorganized.

It costs money everywhere you turn, from the bridge tolls entering the city, to outrageous parking fees, and overpriced restaurants, hotels and entertainment venues.

I have made it a practice of many years to avoid going south over the GG Bridge or west on the Bay Bridge. If you want to see SF, see it from Sausalito, and go no closer.
