Look for “White House” on one of the return address cards.

From the article: "The truck, trailer, guns and ammunition were seized by the Sheriff’s Office. "

The article doesn't make it clear, but I presume the driver was charged with "keeping and bearing arms".

Where is his ATF - "GET OUT OF JAIL" Free Card. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200?

...the deputy realized he was not being truthful and was given the OK to search the vehicle...

It seems to me this article leaves a lot 'unsaid' about what transpired between those two events.

Does anyone know what limit the state of Texas puts on the number of guns one is allowed to own and transport?

Sixty-seven is apparently too many.

Would the guy still have been arrested/accused if he’d been carrying 50? 25? 5?

More Fast & Furious? Soon to be know as False and Foolish or Fake and Faithless. I now suspect everything I hear about guns going to Mexico.

Have they caught the BATFE agent(s) who supplied the guns?

More Kabuki theater to “prove” that American guns are “causing” Mexican violence. We are supposed to believe that someone with tens of thousands of dollars worth of guns and ammunition is expecting to get past the Mexican border guards/bribe collectors but is careless enough to get stopped for a traffic violation and then act guilty of smuggling? More likely that this was staged by the Obamunists as a lead up to the expected executive order establishing gun control.

3 of the 4 men in the vehicle were illegal aliens. The 4th was here on a ‘non-immigrant’ visa.

DEPUTIES SEIZE ARSENAL (Weapons, ammo believed headed for Mexico)

So, let's see, "Arsenal" is what, two guns these days?

A lot of gun dealers use trailers to transport their inventory to gun shows. I’m not saying thats what these people were doing, but a truck towing a trailer full of guns is not altogether unusual for Texas.

Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Cpl. Clint Garza said a deputy stopped a black Ford truck for a traffic violation around 9 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 10 near the 604 mile marker.

And if you believe that I've got a truckload of wallboard I'd like to sell you. It isn't here, exactly, though ....

The Interstate near that mile marker is a favorite speed trap area. Think there's a Petro nearby, too. Mucho busy piece of road.
