Sarah has also said she agrees with Ryan to protect current SSI/Medicare beneficiaries and wants to keep our national defense strong. I assume she also doesn't want the US to default so that means paying the interest on bonds. That doesn't really leave a way to immediately balancing the budget.

That is why I support DeMint’s plan of tying strict spending limits in a deal to increase the debt ceiling.

Thanks for your post. You reminded me of another situation where Mrs. Bachmann had an opportunity to step forward and act like a leader, but failed.

She said her support for the Ryan Plan came with an asterisk. Why? Because seniors don't understand the plan.

Real leaders sign on and sell it. Bachmann was cloaking herself in a political calculation. That demonstrates to me that she doesn't have the heart of a leader.
