Rabs, you know I think highly of you.
We share a hatred of all things McCain. My issue was the the way he handled the POW/MIA issue in 1992—I got his number early on.
In the last 20 years, McCain has done well for whomever his handlers are, pushing forward some of the most anti-American legislation that could be imagined, all the while hiding behind the war hero cloak he wore like a uniform to deflect criticism every day.
Why anyone would criticize you for NOT voting for McCain is beyond me.
McCain was only a hair below Obama in how bad a President he would be. I voted for Palin in the hope that she could moderate him in some way. We were dealt a crap sandwich on 2008, amnd we cannot afford as a country to be dealt that menu ever again by the GOP. They can go the way of the Whigs for all I care if they try that with Romney et al in 2012.
I know you voted your conscience. At least you VOTED. What the heck happened to many Republicans, moderates and independents that didn’t vote, or who voted for the One?
If Lakeshark and Norm Lenhart are so upset, let them go after those people, not you. You are one person. There were MILLIONS of those people MIA.

One last thing. Rabs did not elect Obama. McCain did. McCain refused to fight, when his whole campaign them was about fighting.
When his VP candidate wanted to fight with all her being, he gave up.
He was nothing but a spoiler, taking a dive for his Communist team, having been turned years ago in North Vietnam. The proof was when he hugged his torturer, the North Vietnamese colonel, when he came to ttestify at the POW/MIA hearings, when he should have decked him on behalf of all the US servicemen that bastard harmed, tortured and killed.
I swallowed my hatred for McCain and pulled the lever for him only because of Palin. That was how I had to rationalize my choice.
At least you Rabs voted your conscience. And I respect you for it.

As of this very day, we see the real enemy is not only Obama and the Dems, it is the RINO traitors in the GOP, beginning with Mitch McConnell.
I would rather stand shoulder to shoulder with all of you, and turn to fight these SOBs, than fight each other.
We don’t have that luxury anymore.
Exit, I’ll be happy to fight the libs with you and anyone else. But Those ‘votes of conscience’ did not go to the lesser of the evils we were presented with and it did help get Obama elected. Paul did not win. And yes the people who sat it out are very much to blame. But that does not change reality. That’s the truth.

Actually it started with me. 13 year old sleeper NL freaked out because I posted (for the 100th time HERE) that McCain would have been worse than Obama. I am NOT talking about their intentions, but their results. You know McCain-Pelosi ?? Just imagine.
He freaked out and started claiming that that opinion proves I am against everything FR stands for (it stands for McCain??? LOL), OHH, and I was in big trouble but he said he 'wouldnt turn me in' his words not kidding . LS pinged me few few times too, I didnt read them closely. I think he doesnt like me :( anymore than rabs. Of course in responding I pinged Rabs because I seem to remember he doesnt like McCain.
In my spare time I had time to post a completely different thread, figured I would do it NOW since NL said my hours are numbered here over my McCain opinions. PSSST : I dont like Romney either , please don't 'turn me in' LOL
