Finny...I don’t “reject” Palin, I happen to really like her. One thing I’ve learned in my many years is that some people are awesome head coaches and some are awesome assistant coaches, to use an analogy. I don’t see Sarah as a head coach. You obviously disagree. It’s a free country. Certainly if she’s the nominee, I’ll vote for her over Obama, but I don’t think there is any way on God’s green earth she can beat him. I hope I am wrong.

I’d much prefer a more “serious” candidate, whether that is real or perceived, for the GOP. Too many people do not view her as serious. Leaving her state (quitting or leaving due to lawsuits, whatever) is going to call many people into question about her. So they were suing her, a lot of people would say it shows what kind of mettle she has. The Clintons were in serious financial shape as well, but they kept at it and didn’t quit. The American people want someone that will stick it out.

Besides, she’s so good at doing what she does now, why not keep doing it? She can hammer on liberals, make a good living doing it. She is so polarizing, she cannot win and that’s the problem that people here don’t understand.

A polarizing figure like Palin is not going to attract enough independents. I know, because I’m not a Democrat or a Republican. I lean strong conservative, but I’m also a pragmatist. She simply cannot win the General Election and I think most Republicans know this in their heart of hearts.

If Palin doesn't run, she will have absolutely no, NO, credability. She won't be able to influence anything, as most of her supporters will 1) feel let down 2)not care what she says/writes 3)have to find someone else to 1/2 heartedly support; if that.

On the other side of this coin, the MSM, Dems, elitists of every brand, and those who now call for her to be a "cheerleader"/"king maker"/ or whatever else they say will now say, and rightly so, that she is a nobody, a has-been, and should be ignored; though they will keep on berating her and her family. By not entering the fray, Palin will legitimize every single bad thing, including the lies and caricatures that has been madeup about her, for the past 3 years.

Palin is NOT a "good assistant coach". But then, you and I don't appear to agree on anything much on this topic.

You want a " more serious candidate"? Okay, just who is more serious than Palin? I really want to know who you believe is "more serious" and BTW..........what lies in that person/s closet/s that can be used against them? If you don't know about the scandals/things that can be turned into a cause celebre, then you'd better hold on tight, should your chosen candidate get the GOP nomination!

Supposedly Reagan couldn't win the primaries, let alone the general election and he was also supposedly "polarizing". I am NOT saying that Palin is Reagan reincarnate; just posting a fact you have ignored.

Lets talk about all of the GOP candidates, declared and undeclared maybes, shall we? And that means comparing every single one of them, with just the facts.....no polls, no anecdotal stories about how so and so won't vote for a woman/Palin/whatever; just CVs. Deal?
