G’morning, rodguy.

Remember when the House leadership couldn’t possibly back Bachmann for their conference chair position, despite her claims that she was good at getting media coverage and getting a message out?

No, they had to go with their pal Jeb Hensarling. Just how good a job have he, Boehner, Cantor and Ryan done in getting the message out? Winning the media war with Obama? Framing any of their issues?

Exactly, and I have made my peace with Michelle for letting her pit bull--Ed Rollins blast Sarah. Michelle did apologize which is good enough for me.

She is the hottest candidate we have right now. Hard to tell what Palin will do. We all hope she runs but time will tell.

Speaking of Bachmann...on Chrissy Mathews weekend show, Chris and even Andrea Mitchell, for God's sake, are grudgingly giving Michelle much credit for having her finger squarely on the pulse of America. Matthews loves to show her at her "flakiest" (in his opinion) but senses a different Bachmann now, and appears to take her seriously. Mitchell had to agree.

Jaw dropping. There's always the possibility of Dems attempting to pick our candidate so they can later destroy them, but I didn' sense that motivation. As I said, they and others on the panel seemed to acknowledge Michelle has identified better than her competitors what middle America likes and dislikes. For the first time, it seemed that Mathews had some empathy for the uprising that's underway, initated by the tea party. Check it out.
