As I see it, the left has 90% of drillable land out of bounds. Rather than push ethanol, a terrible fuel, why not drill our own oil? A novel idea they don’t get.

They really weren't balanced if you took out the SS surplus. The national debt went up every year under Clinton. That's an important and simple message that needs to be repeated often enough that everybody understands it. The last time the national debt decreased was Eisenhower's last year as President - the year ending December 31, 1960.
EISENHOWER WAS PRESIDENT THE LAST TIME THE NATIONAL DEBT DECREASED! That's while the "Happy Days" the TV show was named after were actually happening. A simple message that should be repeated over and over and over...

I have been guilty of that myself, it is, a lot wiser to wait and see what Boehner does.

It’s amazing how few of their callers have a true grasp of the topics. Very few. Also they seem to let the left monopolize their phones week after week.

Heh, you mean the pubs should actually go public and SAY something? LOL. Nah, just leak it like the dems do. Even better post it on DU and watch their heads explode.

As a last desperate hail "Mary"to get people to stop saying criminal instead of his real name Charlie the tuna invoked the saviour hoping for a little saving. Sorry Charlie you are still a throwback.

Let me guess: They are all going to try and convince the American people the dooms day clock is ticking and if the nasty republicans don't vot to raise our (credit cards) debt limit, the entire world will end right before our eyes!
Yup.

Hes in no way out there as governor organizing stadium-scale Christian only prayer services or cuddling up with fundamentalist, social-movement mega-preachers. I can't say that thrills me about Perry but I don't see him as a potential theocrat unlike Bachmann or Santorum.

Next time a Repub hears the word shared sacrifice he needs to come back with,....
...how about the 51% of American people who pay ZERO Fed Income Taxes, and in some cases receive a check from the gumint under this ridiculous Tax scheme.
Until that is fixed I personally don't want to hear one word about SHARED SACRIFICE. It is just all about class warfare with the RAT party - go after the biz jet owner??? Do they ever go after the multimillionaire celebrity or the multimillionaire athlete? No, because that crowd is their funding source. WAKE UP AMERICA this is WAR.

Bachmann and Santorum may be more true believers, but they didn’t try to go imposing Gardasil on young girls. Also, they are at least from states and parts of the country where they can’t campaign on the easy religious schtick.
I don’t know how Perry could suddenly go normal after all these years—let alone disown his history.
That said, if it came down to it I would probably pick Perry for president over Bachmann and Santorum for similar reasons and not only because I believe he would be more electable.

Just tell him it was the brilliant Sunday Morning Talk Show thread poster Bray that wrote this, not I.

It was a business trip but a couple of the other highlights. Saw three bighorn sheep that had just crossed the freeway along the Columbia. Also went out of my way to view the Teton Mountains from the Idaho side at the place Glen Beck had been 2 days earlier, Huntsman Springs which has one of the truly great golf courses.
Lowlight this week, got hit by a pickup on my bicycle and am definitely bruised up. God was watching out for me on that.
Pray for America
Thanks for the highlight...I got forced off the road and bumped once by a car into a ditch but didn’t break anything...it was scary.
I did a neat thing...put on my Blackberry a 12noon reminder called, “P4MS”...pray for Muslims. I know most Muslims’ 12noon is not the same as mine, but praying for their salvation while they’re praying I believe is the prayer we need in addition to our nation as a whole.

Do they ever go after the multimillionaire celebrity or the multimillionaire athlete? I can almost...almost, but not quite, hear, say...a McConnell, even a Boehner, throwing it out there...when asked about 'corporate jet owners'...maybe mentioning the above. But you guys seem to think an opposition party should be saying this sort of thing instead of, say, reaching across the aisle.
Silly peeps.

We already know that oil/car companies are buying up invention after invention-- carburetors that get over 100 MPG,new fuels, new engines etc etc. to keep off the market and who know what is really available. When discussing the evil capitalists who are conspiring to buy up and hide 100 MPG carburetors, magic pills that allow car engines to run on water, perpetual motion machines etc., you should always refer to them as BIG whatever, i.e. BIG OIL. That way you emphasize their truly evil nature.
"BIG"
.

While the shortfall of revenue is due to the economy, I am looking for a comparison of spending between 2008 to 2010. I looked on Heritages site but they have their charts back to 1960s. http://www.heritage.org/budgetchartbook/contents Many thanks, Kabar! Heritage's graphics are outstanding. You'd think our side would use them on the Sunday Shows, etc.
