Yep. I am sure you saw the post where I laid out at least six historical quotes from lds leaders about this very issue. There is no evidence that these beliefs were ever retracted. Unless you count the “the guy before us just gave an opinion now listen to what I have to say” argument. That goes along with it’s only the live leaders who count.

Exactly right, they always throw the prophets under the bus. If only the living prophet counts and only kinda then, what is the point?
At least the Bible (our standard) doesn’t change.

The LDS never retract any teachings or beliefs. The closest was giving blacks the priesthood. If they were to retract any beliefs, then it would be admitting that their prophets were false.
