Well, R, I can’t say why other people are talking about “it” but you and I are talking about it because you gave the impression that mormonISM was Christianity. I am simply pointing out it is not in any sense of the word.

Because the GOP establishment wants him to get the nomination and it will be an uphill battle to make sure he doesn’t. Many of the GOP are moderates who will vote for the guy they are told is ‘out in front’ and that means Romney.
If he does get the nomination, his Mormonism will be the center of the debate, not his record since it is the same as Obama’s views.
The easiest way to get us to stop talking about Romney’s Mormonism is to make sure he doesn’t get the nomination, otherwise his religion will be the topic for all of 2012.

Open hypocrisy. What you and many other FREEPERS wouldn't defend based upon some supposed high-minded moral or political or liberal principle/conviction that we don't need to be "intolerant" or "bigoted" toward a candidate's personal religious links & ties, didn't ever seem to make it into FR print on those threads. Why not?
