I am a Roman Catholic. A very odd thing about Mormonism, is how so many Catholics and atheists rush to defend it on these threads.
I have heard repeatedly that Mormons do very well winning converts from Catholicism.
Your church does not consider Mormonism a Christian religion.

I have only heard that Mormons get a large number of converts from Alcoholics Anonymous due to the no alcohol or stimulants belief.

They do, Glenn Beck is not an anomaly. And I know a few ex-mormons who left and went to Catholicism.
