I used to actually feel sorry for them. I quickly realized that PDSers need scorn, not pity. Willful ignorance and hatred is their self-inflicted problem.
Mock them. When they don’t get the adoration for their ‘wisdom’ they seek, their true colors show. Just like a liberal. Conservative they are not and it helps to know friend from foe.

Maybe that is one of the reasons she has waited to announce. Gives less time for challenger to prepare. Zero is very weak candidate. I believe one her chief reasons for delaying her announcement this long, is to allow the statute of limitations to run out on the frivolous lawsuits from her time as Governor.
That said, I also don't believe that she wanted to be a part of the pre-primary demolition derby we're watching now. Sarah's got about the sharpest political instincts that anyone's seen in a lifetime. You can bet that whatever her strategy is, it's been engineered for maximum impact and effectiveness.
Read Sun Tzu, and see if you don't see a lot of what Sarah's been doing over the last year, staring back at you.

We must bring more to the fold brother ;)

I dealt with the world as it is, not as I wished it to be.
That is the core, essential difference between liberals and conservatives.

Secretariat. Bravehart. George Washington. Sun Tzu. And now Bruce Lee. The precision is breathtaking.

Oh God, What did she do this time?

Sugar Daddy? I’m not exactly sure how or why, but I’m betting that’s vaguely raaaaaaacist...

She signed one of these pandering social conservative pledges without reading the fine print.
I hope to heck Governor Palin has the good sense to stay away from them. They do nothing more than paint a candidate into an ideological corner and put a bullseye on their back.
And one like this just makes them look stupid.

I am not opposed to pledges in a blanket sense as they can sometimes be used to advantage. The great thing about Palin is that she’s pretty straight up on the issues and shouldn’t ‘need’ to sign one to begin with. We already know where she stands the vast majority of the time.
But you are right, I can see them backing (a candidate) into a corner depending on what the pledge in question says.
