Did those houses have a “clear view of the Southern sky?”

The Navigant analysts evaluated programs in three areas: Southwestern Montana ... According to their report, it cost on average $349,234 per household.

But, it gets worse. ... In the Montana region, there were actually a number of providers, including wireless, that already provided service in the area. .... Eisenach and Caves found ... only seven households in the entire region could be considered to be without any option for access.

Thus, the cost to extend access to those seven homes was about $7 million each.

Whew, well thanks Barry. I was worried about that. .

Southwestern Montana is my dream place to 'retire' to (ha!). And Broadband Internet access was the only thing holding me back here in wunnerful Illinois. Otherwise I'd be in Montana next weekend riding around my Ranch Condo grounds on my pony Golf cart, a .45 Colt Cell Phone strapped on my hip, and a Winchester '73 in its scabbard a Laptop across my knees.

So thanks again Barry O'Greatone, what a swell guy you are.
$7 million per house is peanuts in the grand scheme of things....

Like what it costs your 1st Wookie to go on her vacations and to eat like a sow.

Bringing internet service to rural areas is a gargantuan task.

However revamping health care for 300 million Americans is certainly within the government's "sweet spot."

End sarcasm.

*** Did those houses have a “clear view of the Southern sky?” ***

Yeah they did.
That was pretty much first confirmed on June 25–26, 1876 by George Armstrong Custer and the 7th Cavalry.
:-)

"...if anything crooked did go on Congress should look in a mirror."

Mirror, hell. They should be looking the prosecutor in the eye with their own privately paid loi-YAH by their side. They have broken the law!
