Hmm where is my Pittsburgh. We are consistently top 5 rating as a best place to live. We have stable real estate prices, a less moribund economy than the majority of the US, a Republican governor and legislature, a moderate climate, tons of history, culture, parks,etc. Sounds like the author of the article is a Yankee-A-Phobe. Texas, nice state but not for me, the endless Summers, the endless urban sprawl, it's becoming Southern California without the beaches.

How’s the weather like in your part of town?

I have plenty of folks I know whose children go to Grove City College just an hour from Pittsburgh. The kids use to go there during the weekends just to have a good time ( although I wonder what’s there to do at night... ).
