"If the government sells something and gets revenue from it, that's revenue." You mean like, selling land that was bought and paid for by the TAXPAYERS? That kind of revenue?
These people are such shysters they don't even hide it anymore. PATHETIC.

He also suggested user fees for government services could provide additional revenue.

In other words, Senator Kyle proposes charging for services your taxes have supposedly already paid for. Roads, bridges, airspace, parks, waterways, etc etc etc.

Republican Senator Jon Kyl announced the move today saying revenue increases don't necessarily mean tax hikes. Obamy's stash?
"Revenue increases" equals tax increases or new taxes period, the government has no other way to get revenue unless they mean print even more money which is not a revenue increase at all but a debasement of what we already have. However they do it, it's coming out of our pockets. There ain't no free lunch to be had anywhere.

That damn Kyl is abandoning ship this time around. What the hell is he doing getting involved in this battle against the commies? He needs to take his scooter and go the hell home now. He’s a quitter.

Well didn’t you just know the GOP would cave. Tammy Faye will come out on TV and sniffle a little into his hanky as he gives us the usual “Thats all we could get” excuse. It never ends.

Republican Senator Jon Kyl announced the move today saying revenue increases don't necessarily mean tax hikes. On the Senate floor Kyl said, quote, "If the government sells something and gets revenue from it, that's revenue." Woohoo! Free money!
Probably more assets handed over to foreign interests. When they put the Statue of Liberty on the sales block, will people begin to wake up?

17:47:32 But if i could talk about something broadly as waste, fraud and abuse
17:47:47 In terms of revenue increases on that side of the ledger (mandatory spending) i would point out b/n $153b & $200b actually comes from increased revenues
17:48:06 So when WH says need revenue increases revenue has been on table.
17:48:16 Were not talking increasing taxes
17:48:20 But if govt sells something- thats revenue
17:48:26 If add up revenues agreed to its b/n $150 & $200b
17:48:39 So its simply false to say we havent agreed to revenue
