Salon.com editor-at-large Joan Walsh says a lot is just "not known" about GOP presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann. Walsh must not read her own website because a simple search of their archives and a broader search on Google of Salon.com and Bachmann yields a lot of results. A lot.
"She's [Bachmann] trying to make this -- and they're all trying to make this about the economy. So they're thinking that's going to be the club which to batter President Obama [with]," Salon.com editor Joan Walsh said.
"You know, the more people dig into her background, her foster kids, there's just a lot that is not known about her," Walsh continued.

I would challenge anyone with 1/3 the number of kids Bachman has helped raise be vetted like these kids will be and have them come out “clean”, This is just a shot across the bow warning one and all to forget about issues - you’d better get ready to protect your family. This is really a sad commentary on America.It isn’t new to politics, 1 supreme crt justice tried to attack a house member with a cane on the house floor ad inf.. This against children though is dead wrong. There may be no answer except for people voting the bums out, but we wont, to much for Washington to loose. Too bad.

They foster parented for 7.5 years, and were limited to a maximum of three foster children at any given time.
The other day it was the suggestion that her husband might be gay. LOL
All the kids were teenage girls and none stayed longer than 2 years. Most stayed only a few months and only three at a time. The bachmann home was a licensed treatment facilty, and not simply a foster home, per se. So I don’t know what these media freaks think they are going to find, but this ain’t no way kosher.
It sort of bothers me that she keeps saying she raised them when she didn’t, but that is no excuse for going after the kids, even if they ARE adults now.

When you want to behave toward Bachmann the same way the left behaved toward Palin, don’t expect to be treated any differently.

The Left can hardly produce documents that Obama is not from Outer Space, yet they are whining that not much is known about Michele Bachmann.
Just read the other day an article where people who went to law school with Bachmann actually remembered her and had an impression of her and her character and intellect.
Oh, the horrors: Bachmann is trying to MAKE THIS ABOUT THE ECONOMY!!
Rotten Republicans, they don’t realize that this is all personal and all about one’s private life (unless you are POTUS have adulterous sex with an intern your daughter’s age in the Oval Office while on the phone with a congressman about the war in Bosnia).

Of course, with Libs it’s never about the individual’s choices and personal responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault.
And what in Hell’s Bells do the Bachmann’s children, any of them, have to do with her suitability to be POTUS?
Walsh will claim, oh, Michele made it part of the campaign by bringing up that she had 23 children. Well, what in the world is she supposed to do when asked to give a little something of her bio? Was Chelsea Clinton media fodder because her shark parents trotted her out whenever they were in big doo-doo?
LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE.
We have to start this pushback loud and early. I say don’t argue the merits at all with these creeps. Just say loudly and often “LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE.”
Just wondering because that is a lot of kids under one roof.
Foster Care: the term used for a system in which a minor who has been made a ward is placed in the private home of a state certified caregiver referred to as a "foster parent".I take it you assumed she had all children in her house at the same time?The state via the family court and child protection agency stand in loco parentis to the minor, making all legal decisions while the foster parent is responsible for the day to day care of said minor. The foster parent is remunerated by the state for their services.
Foster care is intended to be a short term situation until a permanent placement can be made.
A lot is not known about Obama, but Joan Walsh doesn’t care. She’s a Democrat.
Three at a time is a lot when you are dealing with kids in these situations. Often sibling groups as well. Teen girls, could be recovering from sexual abuse or pregnant.
This type of “crisis fostering” is often harder, IMO, than a foster-adopt situation.
Regardless, the kids — of ALL the candidates — should be left alone.
I want someone to ask Michele Obama if she supports the media “helping” protect the privacy of ALL the children of candidates, not just the Obama children?
Many foster kids have had tough lives. Why is Joan Walsh being a bastid?
