“This juror also believed the defense theory of cause of death. He also stated that none of the states evidence was compelling.

He is obviously mentally challenged.”

I did not follow the case and I’m only learning about it since yesterday. So far, I have not heard anything compelling enough that I would sentence someone to death for. Watching shows like 48 Hours, this seems to be common that the state builds circumstantial cases and is all shocked when they don’t get a victory....I’m thinking they should instead try these cases on lesser charges or something.

The jury had the option to find her guilty of a lesser charge of manslaughter, which would have not carried the death penalty.

They acquitted on that one, too.

Since you admitted to ignorance let me set you straight and save you from further humiliation. Casey's charges include SEVERAL lesser charges like endangerment and manslaughter. This group of morons found the murdering slut not guilty on all counts except lying to police! Ok, get it now? These people are total imbeciles.

There were more than half a dozen charges. She was found guilty on four of them. There was more than one choice on the murder part.

What you must remember is she was a mother and she had lawful custody of her daughter. Then one day the daughter disappeared and she waited 31 days to report her missing. In the meantime she is seen partying and getting tattoos. All the while she knew her daughter was missing.

Prove what?

That jury even refused to convict her of child abuse ~ which is what happens to your kid when she goes missing and you don't report her missing to someone.

The jury imagined something ~
