1:42 p.m. | Updated CNN on Wednesday cancelled Eliot Spitzers 8 p.m. political talk show, In The Arena, after only nine months, and said it would shift Anderson Coopers 10 p.m. nightly newscast into the time slot.
The cable news channel also said that Erin Burnett, a new hire from CNBC, would take over the 7 p.m. time slot on weekdays, replacing John King, who will move to 6 p.m. The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer, which currently runs from 5 to 7 p.m., will move to 4 to 6 p.m.
...
The changes at CNN will begin to take effect on Aug. 8, when Mr. Coopers show moves to 8. Then, on Sept. 19, Mr. Blitzers newscast will move to 4 and Mr. Kings will move to 6. Sometime in late September, Ms. Burnetts still-untitled news show will be introduced at 7 p.m., with a rebroadcast at 11 p.m.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall at the Parker dinner table tonite!
Why was it cancelled? Was “In the Arena” an X-rated show?

Well I’ll be! Does this mean no one cared to hear what the philandering (on the public’s dime) demrat Spitzer had to say. I’m shocked, I tell you! Shocked!

Well, at least I know where to find the beautiful Erin Burnett, who left CNBC, now.

Not a good enough reason to watch CommieNewsNetwork for me...
The show needs some fresh Weiner!
Collateral Weiner damage?
WHOOPS! Forgot it was CNN, but don’t blame me for checking in for a few minutes a week. Erin may turn out to disappoint if the show continues to be primarily political,
but she always impressed me as smart, like most of the CNBC girls.

Too bad E.D. Hill had to go down with the sinking ship. But Fox News did like Fist jab jokes.
Too bad E.D. Hill had to go down with the sinking ship. But Fox News did not like Fist jab jokes so out the door she went.
Not to worry about Hill. E.D. is already filling in right now for Brooke Baldwin.
Spitzer had a TV show? Nightly? Oh, I forgot, it was on some cable network...C whatzitcalled.
