That was my objection long ago. You can't ask if they're illegal or not citizens but yet you're supposed to make sure they have consultation with their embassy.

If they are here illegally, screw 'em. They have no protection. If they can't prove who they are or where they are from are we just supposed to go down the whole list of embassies asking each one to send a rep to talk to the killer?
