The Knox case wasn’t nearly as high profile. ....which as I mentioned is the main criteria. It was also in Italy, not the U.S.

I'm still baffled as to how the media decides which of the many thousands of murder cases each year they decide to make "high profile". Sometimes I think it's really just a random pick. The media drives the news these days.

You got it. The media chooses a particular story (out of countless murder stories), the public gets hooked, and presto -- high profile. If this case weren't one of the chosen, Casey would likely be looking at the death penalty right now.

Photogenic, slutty 20-something white woman and cute as a button two year old victim. The media pray for this kind of thing...absolutely free reality TV.

Our society is Stage IV terminally ill.
