I feel Baez indicated exactly what happened here, in this case.

This was a Death Penalty case. These jurors, rightly, were going to play no part in the execution of another human being...that, along with no real hard evidence, set Casey free.

How do you explain the following then?

Aggravated Child Abuse: Not Guilty
Aggravated Manslaughter: Not Guilty

To believe Casey Anthony was not guilty of any of the above offenses, let alone 1st degree murder, would require someone to suspend all level of common sense. Let's face it, this jury was filled with a bunch of idiots...and this does not bode well for our nation's future.

Agreed. Any human being with a modicum of common sense knows she is guilty, at the very least, of child neglect/endangerment which lead to her death. WOuldn’t this have fit under the manslaughter charge? I guess we cannot put anything past our fellow Americans when it comes to stupidity and lack of reasoning. Obama, Schiavo, Fast & furious, etc etc and now this. Cue twilight zone music....we are in it.

In your closed-minded opinion. You have less evidence than the jury did, and all 12 found her not guilty. You're being a sucker for the media - THAT is what requires a suspension of all common sense. But, you're safe...most of America agrees with you. But, then again, most of America voted for Obama too.
