I’m sorry, I didn’t say anything about DNA....
However, back when circumstantial evidence was more widely accepted, a lot of innocent people were convicted.
I am not saying that Casey is innocent. I am saying the prosecution did a crappy job....along with the investigators.... I’m sorry but of all the trials I have been in, I have never seen a judge that would have allowed half the shennanigans this judge did....he was also awful and obviously partial. That is not professional. It greatly affected the credibility of the trial.
I do not know who killed the baby, although I highly suspect the mom definitely was involved somehow. Just because a jury can’t tell you WHO killed a victim, doesn’t PROVE that the person on trial did it....
Again, I personally believe the mom was involved somehow, but that doesn’t mean a case should be decided on my “gut” feeling. Lots of unanswered questions there and George Anthony lied on the stand. That is one thing I know for sure. Anyone with an ounce of deception training knows that.
Fact is, there are still way too many unanswered questions that can be answered by people other than Casey.
I think the thing that bothered me the most was the fact that somehow the body had been tampered with. Not cool. I didn’t catch that whole testimony, so I am still not clear on the meter reader and his role 100%
That "gut" feeling is called reason and logic, a quality a lot of Freepers appear to lack.
From another post:A nice, clean gotcha with the DNA and intact body absolves the jury from having to think too much and actually assess what really happened. It also makes them feel good because they didnt have to make a tough decision. It was easier this way.
Worth repeating.
