No kidding. I’m watching some of these comments and shuddering to think of some of the company I’ve been keeping on FR. Something like this teaches a lot of lessons, not all of them pleasant.
I find it frightening, actually. If I have to hear "It was an accident" one more time I'll scream. If it was an accident, why didn't they convict her of manslaughter? The other brilliant comment that really gets me is "I wasn't there." Excuse me, how many times did we hear that one from the O.J. jury?? Every time I hear it know I am listening to a real Einstein. How many times are we actually AT the scene of a crime? So then we can NEVER weigh motive, opportunity, means, consciousness of guilt, etc., unless we were actually there? Well then hell, why have a trial?
Ranking what up there with "I wasn't there" is "I didn't watch the trial, BUT.." Sorry, no buts. If you didn't watch, read, or follow, why would you offer an opinion? That's sheer idiocy.
I am really steamed and truly sickened by some of the clueless postings I have read tonight.
