Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
I think the jury just proved her guilt conviction or not. You can cure ignorance; but not stupid.
I think your theory might actually be correct.
BTW, whichever post you qouted, wasn’t by me.
Absolutely. So telling was Casey saying to her friend, "All they (parents) are interested in is finding Caley.....I am too but...". Casey immediately knew how it sounded and made a quick qualifying correction in the true fashion of a pathological liar.
This trial means a circumstantial case w/o DNA can never be brought again. Live video of the perpetrator in the act of the crime will be required, preferably with audio.
obama voters don’t condone the death penalty. Why does everyone keep saying that they must have been liberals? That’s CRAZY!! I am NOT liberaland I probably would have voted the same way they did.... as I predicted it days before and told my hubby prosecution wasn’t proving their case.
We can’t just convict because “well, it’s obvious she did it”....or else prosecutors all over will stop putting any effort forth at all....if we’re gonna base judgements on emotions, why even have a prosecutor?????
I think you need psychological counseling for your Nancy Grace obsession. None of us watch her. I’ve paid her zero attention since she convicted the Duke lacrosse players when it was pretty clear they weren’t guilty and the slutty stripper was making it up.
Sad, isn’t it?
bravo!!!!!!!
Im hearing it wasnt proven beyond a reasonable doubt all over the TV.
The problem is that the legal standard has become proof beyond the idiotic doubts of 12 people, all of whom are too stupid to get out of jury duty, while stupid enough that the defense lawyers want them on the case.

I disagree, I think they used their juror status to ‘punish’ the prosecution.
While I agree— the prosecution should never be allowed to run willy-nilly over a citizens rights... being a juror isn’t about punishing the accuser, whist ignoring guilt and facts—leaving the victim without any rights or justice.
The 14th juror showed ignorance, in my mind. It also appears they discussed this before it was given to them—I suspect that would have been LESS likely if they had NOT been sequestered.
Orlando paid a big bill for all this and now Orlando will prob’ly pay for the Anthony family to have body-guards for a while.
justice denied....
I've watched your well-thought out, reasoned posts for over a week now. I see you attempting to apply fairness yet desperately struggling to make sense out of this travesty.
Read the juror profiles. If you do not wish to find the jury stupid and lazy (BTW, I have no problem with it) consider the fact that they were probably all democrats, i.e., anti-death penalty. Perhaps they chose to deny the facts and evidence in front of them in an effort to spare her life.
Justice for Caylee just didn't fit their agenda.
Thanks, chris. If there was something special about that duct tape, I am surprised the prosecution did NOT make more of it. Although, if the jurors did not believe there was even decomp in the trunk (according to one FR’s summary of the alternate juror that spoke), I’m not sure it would have made much difference. That seemed incontrovertable.
jury recommends sentence....judge can go along or not in Fl or so i’ve read...........
I truly feel sorry for Drew.
Nothing would have. They weren't about to hold Casey accountable for a capital crime.
But she sure feel good about themselves.
WFTV legal analyst Bill Sheaffer saw defense attorney Cheney Mason make a vulgar gesture toward the prosecutor with his arm.
With his arm and his finger. . .
You nailed it.
What was enough for me was the 31 days of dead child, met with sex, partying and utter silence on reporting even a missing child, an accident, even to the parents. Cindy seemed reliably hysterical calling 911 on the 31st day, followed by handing off the phone to Casey who sounded like a secretarial service, as well as lying to 911. Add her car evidence and I got it. The rest of the evidence was gravy.
Not into the death penalty here, but with the Casey defense, it’s everyone else’s fault but hers. She knows what happened to Caylee and bears responsibility, but for which she has been completely absolved.
And why is that?
Why do you feel sorry for him? Why the personal attack? That is a liberal tactic and yet I’m seeing it all over FR tonight. It’s disappointing to say the least. Whatever happened to intelligent discourse?
I think that guy is unstable just like Casey.
