Looks like they should have stuck strictly to the God business and not waste money on this gaudy, over the top church. Now they are collapsing under all that debt.

Aesthetically, it doesn’t even appeal to me in the slightest; I do wonder however, what is the developer going to do with it?

Actually, it looks like they can sell, pay off the debts and still come out smelling like a rose because of the property they located on 50 years ago.

I will not judge these people, as some may really be sincere. However, in a situation like this, Trinity and others, the temptation to greed and opulence is major.

Not to worry because God will take care of it.--maybe he is in the process now.

Simple. They will tear down the Cross of Christ, do an internal refurbishment, and make it into an Prime A Office Space. (now vacancy rates in Orange County in this Obamaeconomoy is ANOTHER issue!)

Strange; did you consider the architects and builders of Rheims, York Minstet, Notre Dame and other medieval cathedrals “looneys”? Dr. Schuller has made many major mistakes but he was an inspiring pastor with a positive and uplifting message from the Bible, which is a lot mroe than I can say for most religious leaders I’ve dealt with.
