Cornyn did not say the Republicans should compromise. . .

Yet that's exactly what he is doing.

Get what we can get now, . . .

We can get $1.6 trillion in spending cuts for the next year alone. Is Cornyn on board for this? Unfortunately, no.

So, hoodat, it’s all or nothing, in 4 weeks, huh?

You are absolutely wrong about “compromise.” the Dems WANT the gov’t to shut down, and will blame it on unyielding, “political” Republicans. Worse, they’re floating the idea that Obama can ignore Congress’ will on the debt ceiling.

The media, the Left, and our own reactionary mob will convince the rest of the country that the Republican leadership’s attempts at solutions are worthless political posturing. Our mob will be worse: making the perfect the enemy of good.
