and don’t forget Killdozer...
Yeah, but that was based on a true story.
Maybe he got tired of riding in his balloon?
That was a creepy movie. I miss ABC’s Tuesday Night at the Movies.
Rachel Corrie?
Kids will hide sometimes if they are being abused. I do not know what happened in this family but it must be investigated.
Children should be told by school teachers and counselor to report any kind of abuse. If we could get they asking for help, we may save a lot of lives. Teachers should know to look for odd behavior and probe further is abuse is suspected. We have no idea how many children out there are abused. Lets ask for help.
Good find. I’m watching it right now. Heh heh...
I’m screaming!!!!! “Mother” shouldn’t have been such a *B*.
The doll just came after her...too funny!
This reminds me of the story my husband tells of his adventure of running away from home. He decided to run away for no particular reason. He told his big sister that he was going to run away, so she packed a bag for him and put him on a bus. He rode from WV to PA to his aunt’s house. When he got there his aunt called his dad and told him where he was. His dad got on a bus, rude to PA and sat the boy down on the front porch and carried out a normal conversation about the weather, etc. Then he looked at the boy and asked, “You ready to go home now?” and the boy said, “Yeah”. They got on a bus and went home. Dad not saying a word. Boy fearing what would happen when he got home. Dad walked into the house and announced, “We’re home.” Then he walked out to the back yard and built a beautiful soapbox racer and presented it to the boy. Hubby said he had never felt so undeserving and guilty in his life before or since. His father was a preacher and he illustrated the same kind of love that God shows to us. Hubby is also a preacher.
I remember the next day after they first showed that movie. Everybody was talking about it. It was such a different time back then. Cable hadn’t caught on yet, and most people only had about 7 or 8 channels to choose from. If there was a really good or controversial movie on, a good chunk of the population was certain to see it.
That horrid little thing grunting while climbing the bed.....gives me the shivers..
Thanks. That was great. LOL!
OK.
And kids should also be encouraged to report abusive behavior by their government teachers.
There were some classic “made for TV” movies back then.
It’s a great story. Patience and extended grace as well.
The noises it makes. Makes me laugh.
Oh, how well I remember that feeling... you're out playing, suddenly you notice that you can't see your hands anymore. And now you are in trouble.
Others are referencing Trilogy of Terror. Absolute best movie, with Karen Black and the Doll.
