It was an earful as this jerk spooled-up about how no one should be allowed to have a gun. When we got down to it he yelled that if he could get a gun, there were some people at work he would kill. I stopped and started to laugh. He got very angry and red-faced and made it plain he was not joking, continuing that since he would kill coworkers, no one else should be able to get a gun less they also kill people at work. A true eye-opener into the mind of an Obama voter (he’s voting for The Alien again in 2012).
If a government-gone-bad doesn’t know who owns the guns, and where the guns are, that government cannot effectively disarm its citizenry.
This is exactly why the civilian disarmament mavens are incessantly pushing to close the non-existent ‘gun show loophole’. This is why they want to control the transfer of every gun.
If they can control this process, they can easily get a read on who has a gun and as a next step, make you get permission to own a gun, then it’s just simple matter of revoking this right and taking your self-defense property.
