I never said it was not lost, I believe a good deal of money has changed hands. What I was saying is this crap of trying the woman is against the law in this country. And a few people seem to think it is the correct thing to do.
I really think you misunderstand me. I think he is a scumbag and either a rapist or would-be rapist. I just think this lady is the wrong one to nail him. The rules of evidence on this one are clear. Its going to come down to he said she said unless there is some good physical evidence that the defense can't explain.
When he said she said, it all comes down to credibility and impeachment evidence. All he needs is reasonable doubt.
I'm really not trying to be rude or insulting, we probably agree much more than you think, but legally this case is cooked, unless some of these facts are not as they have been presented.
