Wright does a good job of connecting the dots. Starting with the time Sayyid Qutb spent in America and how it influenced his writings of what he perceived as decadent American culture, and in turn, how Qutb’s writings influenced many of the Islamic terrorists we know today.
Any decent behavioral psychologist could make a career out of analyzing Qutb’s various female phobias.
