If someone calls himself a conservative and believes in our Constitution and fiscal conservatism

What is fiscally conservative about giving medical benefits to a person who claims spousal status premised upon homosexual sex?

What is fiscally conservative about funding sex change operations?

What is fiscally conservative about promoting homosexual sex normalcy around the globe?

What is Constitutional about denying freedom of speech and practice of religion for the sake of homosexual sex practice and promotion?

What is Constitutional about a government mandated morality that is not premised upon God or the will of the people but rather premised upon special interest groups, coercion, bribery, selective law enforcement, 'new' interpretation of law and changes in policy?

Your words sound nice but ring hollow. The apple pie you serve up and call Americana is progressive communist crap!

While I cannot back this up with documentation, I think there’s a strong circumstantial case to be made that...

A: A significant number of the Republican Party leadership are homosexuals and fear being outed by Dems/dem operatives if they don’t vote according to Dem wishes, or...

B: A significant number of the Republican Party leadership are homosexuals and fear being outed period so they vote according to dem wishes.

Blackmail is at the core and a homosexual republican is the most blackmailable thing on the face of the earth.

There is nothing else I can think of that would explain all the insane votes they make in Congress/Senate despite overwhelming opposition from the rank and file.

My brand of Christianity tells me to judge not, lest I be judged.

There's a difference between being judgmental and using your judgment.

If a person smokes, you can't judge them to be a bad person, but you can use your judgment to say that cigarette smoking is a bad thing. It doesn't matter who is doing it. I'm not going to judge the guy, but don't try to tell me that cigarettes smoking is good.

What to speak of forcing the Boy Scouts to have leaders that smoke and teach the boys that smoking is good, or teach children in schools that smoking is good and take them to smoking demonstrations and literature that teaches them how, and on and on and on.

I would tend to agree with you with one caveat that the 'flaw' is not exclusively the homosexual disorder but rather they are corrupt and narcissistic and feel above not only the law of man but the law of God. Call them equal opportunity sexual deviants that are in essence diminished and held hostage to their disordered behaviors and as a result government that should promote the common good is as well held hostage.

No doubt Washington DC is a homosexual mecca; however, I am sure it is as well a prostitution mecca, a drug mecca, a bribery mecca, and on and on.

These fools that pretend to promote in public what they spit on in private need to be exposed and kicked to the rubbish heap every one of them!

I’ve read that Washington DC has a huge number of homos, no doubt mostly in gov work. Staffers, hires, etc. Homosexuals gravitate to positions where they can promote the “gay” agenda, they’re driven. Not that many just want to be left alone.

Perfectly put. I totally agree.

It’s really amazing that such a tiny number have had such influence.

They’re driven, and they are the pets of the Left, and now the GOP. Insane.

Washington, like Hollywood is a place where the ‘casting couch’ is alive and well. That old saw about “A live boy or a dead girl” got it’s start somewhere.

All those congressional aides are in real danger of Congressional AIDS. How many have come out with stories of “favors” asked by their or another congressman? Politics and power are inseparable from illicit sex. Gay or straight and it has been this way throughout history.

Another name for a aide in Washington is “Pool boy”

Caligula anyone?

If someone calls himself a conservative and believes in our Constitution and fiscal conservatism, I don't care if he believes in G-d or who he has sex with.

Got it, you are one of these "fiscal conservatives" (e.g. libertarian) who thinks everything would be just fine if actual conservatives went away.

If you throw out all the gay conservatives, then you need to throw out all the conservatives who commit adultery, shack up before marriage, look at porn, eat too much, whip their kids with belts, spoil their kids, don't want kids, have problems with drugs or alcohol, are "fighting with G-d" (because isn't that what atheists are doing, since there IS a G-d), or have other flaws.

Homosexuals make up about 3% of the population, they are damned in their sin and deserve no special rights.

Anyone who believes like we do and is not perfect is only going to help us!

Really, the social liberals are "helping" us?

Welcome to all who believe in FREEDOM and our founding documents.

The Founding Fathers considered homosexuality a CAPITAL OFFENSE.

Every Issue is a Moral Issue
Townhall.com ^ | June 30, 2011 | Michael Youseff

Posted on Thursday, June 30, 2011 9:43:44 AM by Kaslin

CNN’s Jack Cafferty has advice for the GOP: Park your morality at the door.

On June 14, Mr. Cafferty expressed surprise that, in the previous night’s presidential debate, “social issues—like abortion, gay marriage, ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’—still manage to work their way into the conversation. And that may prove to be a problem for Republicans. . . . These are not the issues that middle America is worried about. They would like to be able to find a job.”

I submit that these so-called “social issues” mean more to “middle America” than Cafferty realizes. We call them “moral issues.” To us, abortion is the slaughter of innocent human life, on a moral level with genocide or the slave trade.

What Cafferty doesn’t understand is that every issue is a moral issue. The current bad economy didn’t just happen. It was the direct result of immoral choices made by our leaders.

The national debt, national security, taxation, the welfare state, border security—there’s not a single issue that doesn’t have a moral component. The government has a moral obligation to live within its means, to protect its citizens, to encourage industriousness and discourage indolence, and to secure our borders against terrorists and drug cartels.

When voters consider a candidate for public office, they should not just ask, “Can this person manage the economy?” They need to know, “Does this person have the values and character to hold public office?”

A candidate who doesn’t value innocent life shouldn’t be president. In 2002, Barack Obama voted to oppose the Induced Birth Infant Liability Act, outlawing infanticide of babies who survive late-term abortions. Mr. Obama didn’t merely vote in favor of abortion, but in favor of killing babies outside the womb. A man whose moral compass is this defective cannot make moral decisions.

He promised an end to earmarks, a secure border, no lobbyists in his administration, no recess appointments, airing the healthcare debate on C-SPAN, elimination of failed programs—and he didn’t keep even one of those promises. Candidate Obama opposed “same-sex marriage,” but as president he nullified the Defense of Marriage Act. A record of broken promises does not equal moral leadership.

Cafferty says that middle America doesn’t care about “same-sex marriage.” But polls show Americans overwhelmingly oppose it—not because they hate or feel morally superior to homosexual people. They simply want to preserve God’s plan for marriage. Marriage should remain what it has been throughout recorded history—a covenantal union between a man and a woman. Here are three reasons why Americans object to redefining marriage:

1. The best environment for children is a traditional family—one mom, one dad. Children from stable two-parent homes are significantly less prone to depression, addiction, and suicide than children from non-traditional families. A moral society should encourage the family structure that best nurtures children.

2. Marriage ideally brings together two people, one male, one female, who complement each other. Mothers are generally protective and nurturing while fathers tend to challenge children to confront risks and embrace opportunities. Children need both influences. Two “mothers” can’t teach boys to become men; two “fathers” can’t teach girls to become women.

3. Children need to feel connected to their biological origins whenever possible. Yale psychiatrist Kyle Pruett found that children “hunger for an abiding paternal presence.” They struggle with questions about their biological origins and identity.

As a Christian pastor, I have nothing but compassion for homosexual people. I understand that it hurts to know that society doesn’t accept your relationship as “normal” and “natural.” But you can’t force society to accept your way of life through court rulings.

The 2012 election is not just about jobs. It’s about the moral choices America must make. If we hold our elected leaders to a high moral standard, there will be prosperity and plenty of jobs to go around. Leaders with a strong moral compass for the sanctity of life and the sanctity of marriage will generally make sound moral decisions on every other issue affecting our lives.

In October 1789, John Adams, America’s first vice president, gave a speech to the Massachusetts militia. “Our Constitution,” he said, “was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” I pray that these wise words would become a motto for our nation—but I fear that they may become our epitaph.

The original American revolutionaries were sick of the European royalty and aristocracy.

We know have a commie/socialist/moral degenerate aristocracy, but not by bloodlines. If anything they’re even harder to remove. How to do it? Got any ideas? Voting doesn’t seem to make much difference.

Yup. And it touched on the concept in the chapter posted above. But many are too damn scared to to it.

The whole ‘gay thing’ is made palatable by the MSM et all because it is presented in a ‘feel good’ ‘just like everyone else’ way.

The simple solution:

When discussing issues of homosexuality, discuss them as they are, not with a sugar coating. Example...

“Should homosexuals have the right to marry?”

Should be presented as...

“Should people be allowed to marry based on oral and anal sex?”

Do that with all homosexual issues and when people THINK about what it means rather than the astroturf fed by the msm, they see the issue in it’s true light.

Same for abortion

“Should a woman have the right to vaccu-suck her unborn child into several pieces?”

To HELL with polite conversation. People should stand up or shut up. Period.

Everything you say is spot on. Doublespeak aka dishonesty and propaganda has gotten us where we are. I was just thinking that if most people who are “okay with gay” actually knew precisely what “gay sex” is, and what the homosexual agenda’s goals and methods and tactics are, they would be just as opposed as those of us who are opposed.

Only the hardcores would still be pro-homo agenda.

One of the points made in “After the Ball” - was to make sure that the general population was not made aware of what the “gay life” is really like.

My brand of Christianity tells me to judge not, lest I be judged.

One of the most misused Scriptures ever to be uttered. To begin with, the way you use it means we should NEVER judge anything a sin. That is NOT what the Scripture says.

This verse is about being a hypocrite. If you're a drunk telling another drunk they're a sinner, you'd better get sober first.

Matthew 7:1-5

1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.

Just for the record:

The Homosexual Propaganda and Media Manipulation Game...

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/1147428/posts

Although homosexual propaganda has been around for 50 years, the current campaign started in 1989 with a very popular book within the homosexual community called: “After the Ball: How America Will Conquer Its Fear and Hatred of Gays in the 1990s” by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen. This very popular book within the homosexual community makes a passionate argument that homosexual activists should implement an organized propaganda campaign to change public opinion to gain public acceptance to their behavior and obtain special rights, benefits, and privileges. Their rationalization for launching such a campaign is that people who do not agree with them are “bigots, haters, or ignorants”, and therefore activists can and should justifiably employ any tactic possible, including mass deceit, lying, slander, maliciousness, intimidation, violence, etc. Although many activists initially condemned this approach at first in public, remaining hold outs have jumped on board after benefitting from the success of the propaganda campaign. The following are exerpts taken from “After The Ball.” These strategies, tactics, and techniques have been and are currently employed by most homosexual activist groups, as verified by their well documented trail.

1) The homosexual agenda can succeed by conversion of the average Americans emotions, mind, and will, through, a planned psychological attack in the form of propaganda to the nation via media (page 153);

2) “Propaganda relies more upon emotional manipulation that upon logic, since its goal is to bring about public change” (page 162);

3) Propaganda can be unabashedly subjective and one-sided, there is nothing wrong with this (page 163);

4) Homosexual agenda can succeed by “desensitization” achieved by lowering the intensity of antigay emotional reactions to a level of sheer indifference (page 153);

5) Homosexual agenda can succeed by “jamming” and “confusing” adversaries, so as to block or counteract the “rewarding of prejudice” (page 153);

6) “Heterosexuals dislike homosexuals on fundamentally emotional, not intellectual grounds” (page 166)

7) “Desensitizing” is “our recipe” for converting “ambivalent skeptics”;

8) Make victimizers look bad by linking to Nazi horror while helping straights to see gays as victims and feel protective towards them (page 221);

9) The Nazi story of “pink triangle as a symbol of victimization” should be a sufficient opening wedge into the vilification of our enemies (page 190);

10) Show grisly victimization of gays and demand that readers identify themselves with either social tolerance or gruesome cruelty;

11) Discourage anti-gay harassment by linking and calling all those that have opposing opinions to latent homosexuality (i.e., call people homophobic) (page 227)

12) Jam people by pointing out that it’s inconsistent with the reader’s belief in the value of love between individuals (page 233);

13) AIDS epidemic should be exploited “to increase attention and sympathy” as “victimized minority.”(page xxv)
14) “We argue that for all practical purposes, gays should be considered to have been born gay, even though sexual orientation, for most humans, seems to be the product of a complex interaction between innate predispositions and environmental factors during childhood and early adolescence” (page 184);

15) “Muddy the moral waters”, that is, to undercut the rationalization that justify religious opposition… this entails publicizing support by moderate churches and raising serious theological objections” (page 179);

16) Portray opposing churches “as antiquated backwaters”, badly out of step with the time and with the latest findings of psychology (page 179);

17) Jam the self-righteous pride by linking to a disreputable hate group (page 235);

18) The main thing is to talk about gayness until the issue becomes thoroughly tiresome (page 178);

19) All opposing disagreements to homosexual behavior is rooted in “Homophobia, Homohatred, and Prejudice” (page 112)

20) It is acceptible to call people “Homophobic” or “Homohaters” if they do not agree 100% with homosexual views, opinions, or behavior. (page xxiii)

21) A media campaign should portray only the most favorable side of gays (page 170);

22) Show others accepting gays and homosexuals (page 241);

23) Heterosexuals are like Aryans and people who are against homosexual behavior are “Nazis” and “Clansman”.

24) Homosexual persecution is identical to Jewish persecution (page 57, 62, );

25) Homosexual persecution is identical racial prejudice to Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics (inferring inborn) (page 62, 73);

26) All scientific/medical arguments to prevent 1973 APA/AMA removal from disorder list were rooted in cultural prejudice, medieval knowledge of science/medicine, and misinformation.

27) “Two-thirds of all boys” have rudimentary homosexual experiences (inferring most teenagers want to have homosexual sex) (page 44)

28) “Vast majority” of homosexuals do not engage in compulsive high-risk sex (page 49)

29) American opposition is based solely on prejudiced, outdated, and hypocritical Victorian morals (page 51)

30) All homosexually suicides are based entirely on societal rejection (page xv)

31) All sexual morality should be abolished (pages 64 to 67);

32) Homosexual civil rights are “explicitly set forth in the Bill of Rights”;

33) Health concerns for AIDS prevention are unwarranted (page 91)

34) Opposition to homosexual marriages is based on “family nostalgia” and “sexual guilt” based on religious/Victorian values (page 92)

35) Adoption agencies have been “placing kids with gay people for a long time,” as long as “you do not bring up” the fact that your gay;

36) “Kids in gay households ultimately receive better-than-average parenting” (page 97)

37) All speech that is opposing homosexual behavior should be banned under “clear and present danger to public order” (page 101)

38) All and any news or media coverage that is presents homosexual in negative form is prejudiced and invalid (page 54);

39) Everyone comes out must be prepped by a media campaign carefully crafted, repeatedly displayed mass-media images of gays (page 169);

40) “Gay activists have tried to manipulate the American judicial system.” Sometimes the tactic works: many executive orders (which side step the democratic process) and ordinances passed by city councils now protect certain rights (page 171);

41) “Employ images that desensitize, jam, and/or convert on an emotional level” (page 173);

42) “Gain access to the kinds of public media that would automatically confer legitimacy upon these messages and sponsors” (page 173);

43) “Ambivalent skeptics” are our most promising targets (page 176)…

44) Associate gay cause with “talk about racism, sexism, militarism, poverty, and all the conditions that oppress the unempowered.” (page 181)

45) Project gays as victims of circumstance and oppression, not as aggressive challengers (page 183);

46) “Mustachioed leather men, drag queens, and bull dykes” should not appear in gay commercials and other public presentations (until later after wide acceptance) (page 183);

47) Groups on the farthest margins of acceptability, such as NAMBLA, must play no part at all in the medioa campaign (page 184);

48) Gays should be portrayed as victims of prejudice…graphic pictures of brutalized gays, dramatizations of job and housing insecurity, loss of child custody, public humiliation… (page 185);

49) In time we see no reason why more and more diversity should not be introduced into the projected image (i.e., drag queens, pedophiles, etc.) (page 186);

50) Infer and speculate that famous historical figures were gay for two reasons: first, they are dead as a door nail, hence in no position to deny the truth and sue for libel; (page 188)

51) In TV and print, images of victimizers can be combined with those of their gay victims by a method propagandists call the “bracket technique” (page 190);

52) The media campaign will reach straights on an emotional level, casting gays as society’s victims and inviting straights to be their protectors (page 187);

53) We like television because it’s the most graphic and intrusive medium for our message (page 201)

54) Over the long-term, “television and magazines” are probably the media of choice (page 204);

55) Ads must manage to get the word gay into the headline or tagline (page 207);

56) Each message should tap public sentiment, patriotic, or otherwise, and drill an unimpeachable agreeable proposition into the mainstreams head (page 208);

57) Several years down the road, our tactics will have carved out, slice by slice, a large portion of access to mainstream media (page 213);

58) Associate and link gays to good causes and non-controversial activities (page 219);

59) The more people who appear to practice homosexuality, and the more innate it appears to be, the less abnormal and objectionable, and the more legitimate it will seem (which is why it is important to maintain claims to 10% of the population)(page 217)

60) Stage candid interviews with gays who appear as solid citizens. Subjects in commercials should be interviewed alone, not with their lovers (for now) (page 247);

61) Most people derive their impressions of the world through the national media (page 250);

62) It will be a sheer delight to besmirch our tormentors, we cannot waste our resources on revenge alone (page 189);

63) “Too many Americans share this mistrust of gay citizens” (page 55);

Also, people need to discuss just how it negatively impacts the person directly. When you get hit with “What business is it of yours what two people do in the privacy of their bedroom?” Answer directly and with the reality of the situation...

“I don’t care, but homosexuals are bringing their sex practices into the public square in a very real way. When I go to a public toilet, I go there to defecate or urinate, not ejaculate. Unfortunately thanks to homosexual ‘trolling’ in public restrooms I, and my minor children now have the option.”

No it’s not ‘polite’ and yes it’s disgusting. But it is the truth and truth always sets us free.
