Was at Ft Dix (wife was a Drill Sgt) when they closed down Basic Training. They had to find homes for all those with time left On the Trail. I was Bn Motor Sgt in 88M AIT Bn and made the mistake of making E8 there and they had the ASI Co for the fuel guys so.......
Black E6 named Eddie Murphy (had the same laugh, too) and redneck E6 named Moose. E7 Sr Drill was from KY, living in Killeen area now but these dammed Jamacians are not letting me remember his name right now :)
