Official Calls For Riverside, 12 Other Counties To Secede From California Link to Article and Poll

New state would have no term limits, part-time legislature

RIVERSIDE (CBS) — Is the state of California about to go “South”?

Riverside County Supervisor Jeff Stone apparently thinks so, after proposing that the county lead a campaign for as many as 13 Southern California counties to secede from the state.

Stone said in a statement late Thursday that Riverside, Imperial, San Diego, Orange, San Bernardino, Kings, Kern, Fresno, Tulare, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa and Mono counties should form the new state of South California.

The creation of the new state would allow officials to focus on securing borders, balancing budgets, improving schools and creating a vibrant economy, he said.

“Our taxes are too high, our schools don’t educate our children well enough, unions and other special interests have more clout in the Legislature than the general public,” Stone said in his statement.

He unveiled his proposal on the day Gov. Jerry Brown signed budget legislation that will divert about $14 million in 2011-12 vehicle license fee revenue from four new Riverside County cities.

Officials fear the cut will cripple the new cities of Eastvale, Jurupa Valley, Menifee and Wildomar.

Stone said he would present his proposal to the Board of Supervisors July 12.

The new state would have no term limits, only a part-time legislature and limits on property taxes.

Split Californicator land into 3 states.

Do this split and then split the State of Jefferson, aka N California from the maggot free loading left wingers from La to Marin county. Southern Oregon counties and cities should be able to join the State of Jefferson if they can prove that they would give up the green communism of OreGone.

Let Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Solano counties decide if they want to join the sinking ship of California or the state of Jefferson with prior knowledge that no tax $’s from the working tax payers in the State of Jefferson will support illegals, union thugs, liberal non profits and the welfare state of California.

Move the capitols to LA, Gay Frisco and Redding/Yreka area.

The first actions by the two new states would be to send every illegal and their spawn back to where they came from.

Then, repeal every anti American Green eco bs law.

Notify every business, ranch, farm, vineyard, “If you can’t make it without hiring illegals and using tax $’s from the rest of us, you should close your business now and move to the maggot infested state.”

The new conservative states will have Supreme courts which will enforce their new constitutions not some liberal wet dream. Anyone wanting to marry the same sex or a different species can move to the maggot infected state.

Anyone wanting free drugs and to be able use any drug they want at anytime should immediately move to be with their brethern in the maggot infected state.

The Sacramento area would at first go into a horrible depression as all the political whores leave. Then, it would rebound like the Phoenix from the ashes. Sacramento then could become the financial/agriculture/cultural center for the state of Jefferson without being a captitol.

Sounds good to me but for one important thing. Border security! As if this split was to take place the lefty side will go into bankruptcy immediately and come across the border to the North where everything is booming and very low unemployment. Then in the future , have to split again. The only way to stop this would be to shoot to kill at the southern border.

Texas could split into 5 states and I believe the states that come out of the Northwest Ordinance could also split.

I'm just amazed an elected official is actually advocating this. I believe as a former Californian, that the state should be split up into 5 to 10 states. Let the Ecotopia folks up north have their own playground. San Diego county is it's own state. The inland desert counties ought to split off. The Central Valley needs it's own state. This is a great idea.
